Humtown Receives "Perfect" Rating for Delivery and Quality from Gunite COLUMBIANA, OHIO - Perfection is a quality that is often aspired to but rarely achieved. For Humtown Products, Inc., a core making and pattern making firm located in Columbiana, Ohio, perfection is a reality - according to ratings just received from one of its customers. Gunite Corporation furnishes quarterly Performance Reports to its key suppliers that rate them on the quality and delivery of their products. The company's report for the first two quarters of 1999 shows that Humtown shipped 86,872 units to Gunite's EMI Plant in Erie, Pennsylvania - and the number of units rejected was zero. In addition, Humtown achieved a 100 percent on-time record for shipments to the plant. This report follows a similar one for 1998, during which Humtown shipped 170,326 units to the EMI Erie Plant. For the entire year, Humtown achieved a zero percent units rejected record and a 100 percent on-time shipment record. "We're pleased to receive this recognition from Gunite," said Humtown National Sales Manager J.D. Schmidt. "It demonstrates the kind of commitment to quality we bring to all of our work.
